i'm the opposite! it's been several years since i dressed up or got creative with any costume at all and this year i've decided to paint a cardboard box like the house from UP, make it wearable with some leggings, and carry around balloons!

This is a sweet treat (but also good to take to any harvest / Halloween parties). Take some of those delicious green apples that are around in all of the farmers' markets right now. Slice them to your desired thickness. Then prepare this absolutely amazing, decadent dip. It's bad, but it's so, so good...
This was almost exactly my evening tonight, just with a different dinner menu. Fall is so amazing, and crunchy leaves are the best!

Halloween costume idea... don't want to be a pumpkin, ok, what about a pomegranate! hahaha they are in season right now, you know! I'm having one right now and it's delicious!
You just need a plum red tank top, red crown/tiara, dramatic red lashes, lots of red bead/pearl necklaces and bracelets... and tadaaa! Pomegranate!
No? ... yeah, ok. haha

That is a really cute idea. I was giggling over the thought of it with me as a big round pomegranate... but it's actually a great idea! If I can rally myself enough to head to the craft store, I may just have to see if I can find the makings of this costume.
